Data Grids
Work directly in the data with spreadsheet-style grids
Every resource in Scholarly like appointments, publications, faculty members, etc is also available as a permission-aware "grid." This spreadsheet-like experience where you can sort, filter, hide columns and create pivot tables is built into the browser and connects to a live faculty information database.
Once you have a dataset sorted, simply export to Excel or CSV for further analysis offline.
Custom fields show up immediately when configured in your account. Need an extra field to track tenure clock extensions or sabbatical eligibility? Scholarly can help.
Live Reporting
Real-time data, even at 100,000 rows
The Scholarly reporting experience is unlike other platforms out there. Instead of clicking buttons and waiting for an email, all reports happen in real-time. Data is always fetched from the database, ensuring that a report or a grid is never stale, regardless of the size of your dataset.
This means less manual reconciliation among many different data sources. Gain confidence that all stakeholders are looking at the same data. Scholarly is your source of truth, and is always up to date.

Permission-aware AI for sensitive faculty data
Need a deeper, more complex analysis? Scholarly Assistant can help. Join across disparate datasets, find subtle discrepancies, identify potential bias issues, and more.
Scholarly is a secure environment to use AI with faculty data. The AI Assistant is permission aware, preserving confidentiality and data security. Any information generated from the AI Assistant is always marked with a disclosure, highlighting that the data was pulled using AI.
Faculty information is never used to train models and zero data is retained by AI providers.
