Product Updates, October 9, 2026 – October 22, 2026
Workflows & Review
Nested workflow groups: groups can mirror your org directory structure, with drill-down navigation from workflows into nested groups.
View workflows by case: a new toggle on the workflow groups page lists each faculty member case with its group shown as a column.
Rule-based read-only reviewers: set default read-only reviewers on review steps by specific user, department head, or record relationship.
Record Attribute Display questions: show and optionally update standard or custom fields from any record type inside a workflow.
Contact label filters: limit Profile Attribute Display questions to selected address, phone, or email labels, such as Office.
Academic-year date ranges: activity table questions can use relative ranges, including the current academic year and ranges based on the case start date.
Reviewer name variable: emails triggered from workflow steps can include the assigned reviewer's name.
Custom email subject lines: set your own subject line for immediate workflow step-action emails.
Step emails in Activity feed: step-action emails now appear in the workflow case's Activity feed, link to delivery records, and can be opened by case viewers.
External reviewer email delivery status: chairs can see bounced or undeliverable external reviewer invitations.
Document upload details: Additional Documents display upload date and uploader name.
Institutional Documents as reviewables: make policy guidelines and other reference documents available to reviewers, including external reviewers.
Review PDF page numbers: downloaded review PDFs include "Page X of Y" numbering.
Workflow Group column added to My Assigned Reviews: see each candidate's workflow group to tell units apart.
Faculty Profiles & Activities
Chair access for secondary appointments: department chairs can manage faculty with a secondary appointment in their department, including their administrative and Scholarly profiles.
Timeline event controls: show or hide auto-generated faculty timeline events individually, without affecting custom field events.
Academic terms on the timeline: events can show terms such as "Fall 2008" instead of full dates, with term and academic-year filtering.
Mobile activity editing: faculty activity editing adapts to tablet and phone layouts.
Reporting & Grids
SQL grid sharing: share grids by role or institution-wide admin access, with each recipient's view limited by their permissions (e.g., a department chair only sees the data for their department).
Resharing privileges: grid owners can let recipients reshare and manage their own sharing cadence.
Workflow group assignments in reports: SQL grids can display workflow manager and viewer assignments, enabling reports on who has access to which workflows.
Document Export
Unit-specific CV templates: department- and school-specific CV export templates so faculty see only their own units' options.
Large folder exports: folder ZIP exports stream to a temporary file, improving performance of large bulk exports.
