Product Updates, June 2026

In June, we focused on making your reports more reusable, your workflows more flexible, and the authoring and collaboration experience more reliable. Here's a look at what we shipped.

Workflows

We added new ways to gather decisions and gave administrators more control over how cases move.

  • Voting questions. A new question type purpose-built for committee votes, available in both anonymous and named modes.

  • Undo a signature. Signatures can now be reversed in the right circumstances, so a stray click no longer means starting over.

  • Smarter routing. Decision questions can route directly to review steps, and reviewers can no longer open steps that were skipped.

  • Withdrawals with context. Attach notes or files when initiating a withdrawal, so the reasoning travels with the case.

  • Tidier workflow pages. We cleaned up the header on workflow pages — no more wall of buttons — and added a toggle to control whether a Workflow Collection appears on the dashboard.

CV Import & Faculty Activities

We shipped the first version of a powerful new tool for custom data, and continued sharpening CV Import accuracy.

  • More accurate CV Import. Faculty activity descriptions are now passed into more of the CV Import pipeline, improving how sections are parsed and mapped.

  • Helpful tooltips. Faculty activity property tooltips now appear in both the activity table and the add/edit modal.

  • Quality-of-life fixes. We fixed a handful of bugs, including where the first character typed into a CV Import correction wouldn't register.

Rich Text & Collaboration

We rebuilt the foundation behind collaborative rich-text editing and gave institutions more control over formatting.

  • A new collaboration layer. Collaborative rich-text questions now run on a new, substantially more reliable real-time engine. When a connection or sync issue does occur, it's surfaced clearly in the saving indicator.

  • Institution-level formatting controls. Administrators can now turn off specific rich-text features — such as headings, ordered lists, and inline attachments — to keep responses consistent.

Document Templates

Institutions can now author document templates to re-use things like letterheads across workflow materials.

  • A real editor. Templates now use a proper code editor with an inline live preview, and validation errors appear right in the editor as you type.

  • Editable headers and footers. The template editing page was revamped, and headers and footers are now fully editable.

  • More dynamic content. Templates support image-source variables and template variable bindings for richer, data-driven documents.

Reporting & API

Reporting got a major upgrade this month, anchored by a new way to save, share, and schedule the grids you build.

  • Saved Grids. Save any grid as a named view, mark your favorites, and share a read-only copy with colleagues. You can also schedule a saved grid to be delivered by email on a recurring basis — so the numbers your team needs land in their inbox automatically.

  • A redesigned Reporting sidebar. Reporting now leads with Grids in a cleaner two-level navigation, with classic reports tucked neatly under "Reports."

  • Cleaner numbers. Decimal values now render correctly in grids, and large whole-number activity counts are formatted with thousands separators for easier reading.

  • Configurable webhooks. Choose exactly which webhook events you want to receive, and subscribe to a new profile.related_object_updated event that fires whenever anything related to a profile changes.
