• External reviewer nominations: faculty and committee members can nominate external reviewers for administrator approval, with optional reviewer categories (external, internal, student).

• Reviewer email templates: department-specific invitation and letter solicitation templates, with an admin lock to prevent edits before sending.

• Step viewer roles: grant read-only access to a single workflow step and its reviewables, with notifications that do not create a dashboard task.

• Reviewer call-to-action timing: control when reviewers assigned to upcoming steps see their call to action.

• Carry-forward answers: responses copy from matching questions in earlier steps, including questions hidden by display conditions.

• File upload options: decide which faculty activity tables include file upload/attachments.

• Scholarly ID confirmation: faculty confirm or reject auto-detected ORCID and OpenAlex identifiers from a dashboard prompt, and ORCID is filled in automatically when an OpenAlex match provides it.

• DOI field type: a case-preserving DOI field with format validation, rendered with the doi: prefix in NLM citations.

• Journal field type: journal names look up their NLM abbreviation so citations render the canonical form.

• Citation formatting: NLM citations now include edition, label multiple editors correctly, format publication dates consistently, and omit stray punctuation when volume, issue, or pages are empty.

• Document type picklist: citation configuration supports a configurable list of document types such as journal article, book chapter, and conference proceeding.

• Email labels: profiles support multiple labeled email addresses, and mapped imports can target each label.

• Focus management: keyboard focus moves into modals, slide-overs, uploads, navigation drawers, and the command palette, stays there while open, and returns to the opener on close.

• Keyboard dropdowns: dropdown menus support arrow-key navigation, Escape to close, and checked-state announcements.

• Keyboard section navigation: jump between sections with the keyboard, with a current-section indicator.

• Accordions and toggles: accordions and button toggles are keyboard operable and announce their state.

• Sortable headers: table headers expose sort direction to assistive technologies.

• ARIA semantics: disclosure controls, tabs, and dropdown menus expose correct roles and states, and workflow diagrams no longer interfere with screen readers.
