Accessibility Statement

Last Updated June 4, 2025

This is an accessibility statement from Scholarly Software Inc.

Measures to support accessibility

Scholarly Software Inc takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Scholarly Platform:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.

  • Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Scholarly Platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Additional accessibility considerations

Our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. We have achieved this across all controls except for Color Contrast criteria (1.4.1 Use of Color). We are currently working on improving our average contrast ratio from 3:1 to 4.5:1 as required by WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
